Typhoon Doksuri that struck the Fujian provinces last Friday was considered as one of the strongest since the last typhoon in 2016 that created a huge aftermath and inflicted casualities in the city of Xiamen. The citizens were all prepared for the worst and may become the repeat of the 2016's typhoon. But it was out of our expectation that the storm inflicted minor major harm to our city. The only post-typhoon sight could be seen was fallen branches & some collapsed trees lining the road and all buildings remained in good condition. The worst affected was around the Quanzhou region, the city next to us, as well as the surrounding counties. Several roofs were torn apart by the storm, overhead powerline pylons caught on fire by snapped cables and many low rise building & houses were flooded. 

Thanks to the storm inflicted no damages to the BROAD's compound, as well as the vital goods. components & the machineries in the workshop and storage area. Our staffs took keen efforts in preparing and preventing the typhoon such as taping all glass windows, checking the power supply system and upholding extra frames against roller shutters of the workshop in order to protect every unfinished machines in the workshop that needed to be in perfect conditions before reaching the clients. 

Taking precautions actions against any extreme conditions is also part of our duty so that the production will need to carry on perfectly without any impacts.
